Hello Gorgeous

Hi there! Glad to have a little bit of free time today.

Started my new schedule at work 8:15am to 8:15pm Friday through Monday. SOOO nice. It's been hard waking up at 6 when I'm used to sleeping in until 10:30 since on my old schedule I was working 1:15pm to 1:15am. However, on the flip side, I come home at a decent hour, still get to see my family, so the trade off is well worth it.

We've had some hellatious weather here lately. Lots of rain and storms over the past 3 weeks and frankly, I'm ready for it to all go away and for us to have some sunny skies.

I'm off today, so I'm planning on making a fancy French dinner tonight. Should be VERY yummy. Pioneer Woman would be jealous.

We took the ambulances out to Edmond yesterday on the Fire Department driving range and did a tough driving course. Hard stops. U-Turns, brake and evade, serpantine and then did it backwards. It was so much fun. I only murdered one cone, so I passed. *woo*

The house hunt is still going, unfortunately. I've been looking ALL THE TIME. I found a few that are okay, but I refuse to settle on a house that I'm not madly in love with. I've got an entire notebook filled with house ideas for decorating, cabinets, flooring, etc. It will take some time and money, but I know my dream house is out there....and if it's not, I'll get the closest thing to it and start fixing her up.

Not much else for news around this place, have lots of errands to run today. Tailor for my work shirts, grocery store for my French dinner, laundry!
