Kar Marx is absolutely insane. (I'm reading about him for my European history class)
What a fun crazy weekend it has been.
I worked at 7 Minutes Later on Saturday. We had a whole bunch of new goodies in, so I stayed pretty busy with all the ladies coming by. Something else cool happened, I met my first ever male scrapbooker!!! He came in and bought 2 sheets of paper. (they were masculine paper of course) but still paper none-the-less. I didn't catch his name, but we chatted for a bit, he was so stinkin nice! He said we have a "really classy store" and that he would definitely be back. It's so cool to see guys in your hobby as well.
Today has been pretty relaxing. I slept in and then ran to Sam's and Garden Ridge with my mom. Then I drove te Polaris Ranger outside while my dad sprayed for weeds (Maggie sat by me while I was driving. Pictures to come soon!) We watched the NASCAR race and now I'm blogging before I have to finish reading about Marx and his Socialist/Communist views. I really feel like I'm learning a lot in this class. Moreso than I originally thought I would learn.
I went out with Jessica last night. We ran to Norman and I showed her OU's campus. I love it down there. It's so gorgeous. The buildings are a 1920's gothic style (with gargoyles!!!) The Law building has a green own on top. Too cool. Here are just a few pictures from around the campus.
Green owl in the Law Building Old mailboxes in Gittinger Hall. I so want one of these
Writing on the wall in Kaufman Hall. I found this extremely hilarious.
