My favorite commercial...

I love that commercial for K-Mart. It's got the teenage boy and girl out on the lawn. They lean in to kiss and the girl's dad plugs in the Christmas lights and the guy falls backwards and knocks over these lawn decorations. It's really funny.

I got a confession. I've been watching Sex And The City and I'm addicted. I catch an episode here and there and now I watch it every night. I have to admit, I think I like Charlotte the best. For some reason she reminds me of me. She's a bit neurotic and organized and goody goody. Not saying that I'm a goody goody or anything, because I'm not....well, maybe I am, just a little bit.

So, remember that guy I liked? Well, I still like him, but I had to call over to his bank yesterday and when he answered the phone, he sounded so hot. I'm kind of hoping that he asks me to the Christmas party. That would be cool. If not, I'll bring Leslie and we'll just have a good time bowling and stuff. But, how do I get him to ask me? Do I just say something like, "So, are you bringing anyone to the party?" To me, that makes it sound like I'm fishing for him to ask me and I want him to ask me becuase he wants to, not because he has to.

I'm also addicted to bubble baths. I've taken one every single night this week, and I think I'm going to take another one right now.

Ta ta!

Walking down fifth avenue, I looked up and I saw you

Hello everyone. Did you guys have a nice day? Mine was pretty spiffy, I got off at 3:30 and had to run to UCO to do my teaching demonstration. It went beautifully.

I don't have to be at work until noon tomorrow....can you say 'Sleeping in?" Yea....I thought so.

Oh! Annabel you light me up in a brand new way....

So, I got my hair colored! It's chocolate brown and it was golden/caramel highlites. It looks super cute. I flat ironed it this morning and it looks chunky and choppy. I like it.

I must tell you about another band I like. The Pat McGee Band http://www.patmcgeeband.com They're from Virginia. They opened for Hanson too. You can listen to their music online at their site. I like "Annabel" from the CD "Save Me".

OKay, well, I'm going to work now. Have a nice day.

11.27.2005

I love local bands. I'll just start off by saying that. I have a new favorite. The Hero Factor. They're from Tulsa. They play every Wednesday night at Skky Bar, however you have to be 21 to get in, so....3 and a half more weeks I guess. As a matter of fact, my birthday is on Wednesday, so I might go down there. It just sucks because none of my friends are 21 so I would have to go by myself. Unless I can talk someone into going with me.

Anyway, go to http://www.myspace.com/theherofactor to listen to some of The Hero Factor's music. I'm going to try to hit some of their shows in the OKC/Edmond/Norman area. I think my favorite song of theirs is "She's Out There". I don't know, there's just someting about it that I adore.

I'm also thinking of getting my hair done today. I want it darker. Maybe like a chocolate brown with some brown sugar colored highlites or auburn highlites. Just...something different. I also need to get my hair trimmed.

I'll post before and after pics when I get it done.

How sweet it is....

Pictures!

Now for the real post...

Alright, I've teased you long enough. I'll finish the Hanson concert post.

So, Hanson came out on stage at 10:00. Zac was wearing a black shirt that nicely accents his muscles. Taylor wore a white dress shirt with red stripes and jeans. Isaac wors a black shirt with a gray blazer and jeans. He later removed the blazer.

Once they came out, the crowd surged forward again...yuck. So during their first song I was quite uncomfortable. Then, Kara and I worked our way through the crows and into the back. Let me tell you, that was the best place to watch the concert. No joke. We're just in the back hopping, dancing, singing and jumping around. In my opinion, this was the best Hanson concert experience I've ever had. There wasn't any pushing or shoving or mean teenie boppers. It was nice.

During the show though, Isaac stopped and got quiet and said, "Well, in the last week we've lost 3 grandparents. So, in rememberance we'd like to sing a gospel tune. Please hold your applause until the end". Well, wouldn't you know it, some jerk fan screams. The Zac grabbed the microphone and said, "That would involve silence". They sang this amazing gospel song. I don't know what it was, but it gave me goosebumps.

Set list you ask? Okay, here it is:
1. *cover*
2. *
3. Minute Without You
4. Look At You
5. Can't Stop
6. Weird
7. When You're Gone
8. Hand In Hand
9. Stroung Enough To Break
10. Penny & Me
11. *Gospel song for their grandparents*
12. Every Word I Said
13. Runaway Run
14. If Only
15. Without Love Where Would You Be Now
16. Where's The Love
17. Hey
18. Rock & Roll Razorblade

*Encore*
19. Everybody Knows The Claus
20. Run Rudolph Run

The show ended at midnight. Kara and I left during the first song of the encore and ran around to the back of Cain's to see if we could wait by the tour bus for autographs. The boydguard guy was a jerk and said, "Keep walking ladies...". Now, last time I checked, Tulsa was a public place. Did we do anything illegal? No. So, that guy can take his load of crap and shove it up his ass.

We got back to the hotel at 1:15 and went to bed around 1:30.

We had a great time.

Give it up for Pete!

Hello everyone! I know you're dying to hear about the Hanson concert...so here's the full report:

We got to Cain's about 5:00. We were outside because the doors opened at 7. Once we were inside we had a great spot about 12 feet from the stage. It was great. We were there for The Hero Factor, and The Pat McGee Band. While The Pat McGee Band was playing Hanson came out on stage with Nerf guns and suction cup dart guns. The crowd went wild and everyone rushed forward. Then Hanson left the stage and PMGB kept playing. Then, during the last song that PMGB played was a cover of Cheap Trick's "I Want You To Want Me". It was so good. Hanson came out with Silly String and covered them. It was brilliant.

Okay. I'll finish this post as soon as I get back from Wal-Mart with my pictures!

When I grow up...

When I grow up I want to be a cranberry farmer. I saw a special on cranberry farming this morning on the Today Show. I love cranberries. Yum Yum!

Alright chipmunks, I'm leaving for Tulsa. I'll have pictures and a full resport for you tomorrow.

11.22.2005

Hi my dears.

I can't believe the Hanson concert is tomorrow. WOW! I'm so excited. I have so much to do. I need to et directions to Cain's, directions to the Sheraton, extra batteries for my camera, and new batteries for my audio recorder. I also need to get my clothes and backpack together for the concert. Did I tell you that Kara and I are wearing OU shirts? I couldn't remember if I did or not. We're going to look so cute.

Well, I need to put my puppies up, and then head off to work.

But, before I leave, have you ever tried Red Baron Breakfast Scrambles? It's a biscuit style pizza with cheese, egg and ham in it. It's wonderful. I think I need to get one for breakfast. Yum. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

Carrie Underwood is on the Today Show! Horray! I like her!

11.21.2005

She plays guitar with her fingertips...

Whew! What a day! I'm glad it's over.

Lindsay and I drove to Tuttle during our lunch to see Lori. She had a tummy tuck and she won't be back to work until December 2nd. I miss her, she's fantastic.

That's pretty much it. I got 1 referral today at work. It was dissappointing, but at least I got one.

The Hanson concert is Wednesday night! I'm so excited.

Alright, gonna get off here and watch my Ti-Vo-ed Oprah episode. Today was "Oprah's Favorite Things 2005". I can't wait!

I'm in love...

Okay, so I decided to watch the NASCAR race with my dad this afternoon. Let's just say, I'm addicted. I'm a NASCAR fan. I even have a favorite driver. His name is Carl Edwards and he's gorgeous. He tied for 2nd in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Racing Series. It's so cool, because after he wins a race, he stands on the window of his car and does a backflip. I want to meet him.

I ran out to the mall with my mom today too. I found 3 sweaters at ColdWater Creek.

Back here...it' always comes around, back to you..

Ahoy everyone!

Work was good. It seemed like the minutes crawled by. I came home and my dad and I ordered pizza. My mom had to work late tonight. Then, Leslie and I went and saw "Prime". It was good, but all of the funny scenes were in the previews.

Whitney came home and had David with her. They went to Wendy's and they're bringing my back some chili. I love Wendy's chili. It's so good.

Don't you just love "Win A Date With Tad Hamilton". It's one of ym favorite movies. I love Topher Grace. I love the part where Pete is trying to show Tad some farm chores and Tad is good at everything. Poor Pete.

I have no plans for tomorrow. Just be lazy and enjoy my Sunday.

I don't have to go to school at all this week. I'm so excited. No Methods, no Adolescent Psych, and no Marketing. I'm so excited.

I'm a sick kid

So, it's been almost a week since I've been sick. It's not cool, and I have to go to work today. Yuck. Liz is sick too, and might not come in today. So, if she doesn't come in, it's just me and Jennifer and Lindsay. So, basically, it's just me and Jen because you know Linds will be in her office.

There are so many good movies coming out! I can't wait! Anyone want to see "Pride and Prejudice" with me?

Did you know Christina Aguilera is getting married? I think it's this weekend. Crazy. I miss her bubble gum girl days. Now, when you look at her she's pale with snow white blonde hair and blood red lipstick. No thank you.

I have so much I want to do! I want to see "Prime" and I want to go to the Looney Bin this weekend too. I also want to eat at Chili's and get tomato basil chicken pasta.

So, Paris Hilton got a new puppy. It's a little puppy named Baby Love. Personally, I think it's a silly name. I also hate how Britney Spears name her dog Bit Bit. Um, no.

So, I think Whitney is getting me a puppy carrier for Susie for Christmas. I'm so excited about it. Every year we take a family Christmas picture and this year I think I'm going to dress Susie up. She'll look so cute. It's so cute becuase when I get home, she follows me around until I'm ready to sit down and give her a good tummy rub. Then, after that, if I attempt to get up and go do something she follows me around the house, outside and everywhere in between. It's quite flattering to have a little critter love you that much.

Good day

Hey everyone.

So, this guy I like asked me out today. His name is Mark and I work with him. Well, not at the same location, but he works at the MidFirst across the street from me. I probably will go out with him. He's a nice guy.

So have you hears about puggles? They're a dog mix of Pugs and Beagles. They're the cutest things ever. Speaking of cute things, my puppy, Susie is extra precious.

There's Susie. She's so cute!

Home Sweet Home

Hello! As you can tell I moved! I never though I would, but I did and I'm so happy! I love Blogger!
